• Sister Mary Ann LoGiudice
    Sister Mary Ann LoGiudice Board Chair

    “Sister” as we all warmly call her, has been on the board for over 20 years. She currently serves as the local coordinator for Sisters of Mercy. Her current ministry is with her religious community, providing leadership and care to the Sisters of Mercy in the Albany region. Formerly, her ministry was with Catholic Charities, where she served as executive director of Community Maternity Services, an agency that provides services to pregnant and parenting adolescents and children and families in the Albany Diocese. “It is a privilege to serve on the board of an agency that provides compassionate, high quality services to those affected by HIV and AIDS.”

    Micky has served on the board for over a decade, providing over sight and bringing her array of knowledge of regulation and healthcare systems management. She currently works as the Acacia Network Regional Director of the Capital Region, where she exemplifies leadership in health care management and operation reform.

  • Kathy Damberg-Trudeau
    Kathy Damberg-Trudeau Treasurer

    Kathy currently serves as the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting at Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany. She is a native of Scotia, NY, currently living in Clifton Park with her husband Mark and beloved dog DC. She is a “second” mom to three great kids and grandmother to their collective 11 children. Prior to joining Catholic Charities Kathy spent 17 years as Comptroller for the union representing SUNY faculty and staff. Kathy is an identical twin and enjoys cooking with her husband for their catering business and sharing their creations with family and friends.

    Kathy is currently on the Board of Directors of several local Not for Profit agencies and volunteers in theatre and Church. She has been on the Board of Support Ministries since 2009 when she was introduced to the agency by Sr. Mary Ann LoGiudice.

    Maria has  been on the board for five years, on spare time also enjoys volunteering at the Egg, and hosting Latin Fiesta on WRPI 91.5 fm, Thursdays 6-8pm. She works for the State as a Compliance Specialist.

  • Margaret King
    Margaret King Member

    Margaret is a retired school teacher, serving the Albany Public School for 32 years, a profession which she loved! Margaret was invited to the Board by Ms. Arvilla Cline, her high school Latin teacher and the name sake of our women’s permanent housing program, Arvilla House. She is still in touch with Ms. Kline on a weekly basis. She began her board membership in 2005 and served many years before taking break. In 2017, we welcomed her back with open arms.

    Agostino hails from a marketing and fundraising background. He currently is employed as the Associate Director for Development Research at the University at Albany and Associate Creative Director for UAlbany magazine. He has been serving on the board since 2013 and brings his passion and professional background to our monthly meetings in ensuring fundraising efforts are strong and well planned.

    Mersi joined the Board in 2017. She has been a registered nurse since 2010, working with a variety of patients but specializing in pulmonary and critical care. Currently she is entering a new role as a nurse case manager as she continues her education to complete her BSN. She joined the Support Ministries’ board because of the positive work and services it provides to members of the community. She is excited and looking forward to utilizing her knowledge and experience in healthcare to provide education and wellness checks to all of our residents!
